Breaking news from Ground Zero – Superstorm Sandy

1 Nov

According to my stepdaughter (who is currently in the midst of the NJ carnage), the Seaside Heights area of NJ is closed to all traffic. Helicopters and boats are now being used to ferry those residents out of the area due to the devastation.

Many of these residents have been trapped in their homes since the event and are now finally being rescued.

EMTs and medical personnel have established a triage area on the opposite side of the Seaside Heights bridge.

We currently have containers enroute to impact areas, to assist local authorities and first responders in both housing maintaining supplies and gear. (2) 20′ ISBU canteens are  also in transit to feed workers and volunteers.

Our kid can’t get close enough to take photos yet but she’ll keep us informed as the situation develops.
